“This was a great tour of the Jewish ghetto area.Lucia, the guide, was very knowledgable and pointed out things we would not have noticed had we just wondered around on our own. She spoke English well and was able to make the tour interesting. Afterwards she took us to a local place which had really good coffee. She also took us to a couple of shops we wanted to visit. Good communication after booking about where to meet and Lucia also suggested changing the time slightly to avoid the carnival crowds, which was helpful. I would highly recommend this tour with Lucia as the guide.”

“Absolutely LOVED the tour, both culturally and gastronomically speaking, and Vanessa was the PERFECT hostess & guide!! Not only did she share her incredible knowledge of the interwoven histories of the Carneggio area and the Jewish Ghetto, but she did it with empathy, grace, style and humor. She provided an incredible human bridge that made us look deeper than the tourist layer of Venice! Also on a personal note, Vanessa was very understanding of the needs of the group and adjusted the pace to accommodate those who ran a little late and the one (me!) whose level of fitness indicates too much time at a desk over the last 3…”
