“Our ride from the Venice airport to Trieste was perfect. Grega monitored our flights and provided clear instructions on where to meet once we arrived. He was helpful with our baggage and even provided interesting bits of history about the places we passed on our journey. Door to door service: safe, clean, cheerful, and kind. Highly recommend if you’re looking for transport in this region. Bonus: he recommended a gelato place a short walk from our hotel and it was FANTASTIC.”

“Our driver was waiting for us at the airport. He was friendly and informative, gave us a running narrative of the area while we were on our way to the port. We arrived at the ship an hour ahead of fellow passengers on same flight! Our driver took us directly to embarkation point, while Royal Caribbean transfer bus guests had to walk a long way while carrying their luggage. We were actually unpacked and eating when other guests were just getting onto the ship. The transfer was a little pricey, but well worth it to start our cruise on the right foot!!!”

“This was the only negative point from what was a great weekend in Venice. The cost is simply a rip off for what you get. It started fine, the airport taxi was comfortable and the driver very friendly. We then arrived at the water taxi which should have been a romantic start to our trip but ended up as a damp squib. Firstly the tour operator accompanies you on the boat which is unnecessary. You also can't really see anything during the ride as the high windows on the boat prevent this. It also took us about five minutes to get to our hotel - I would have thought that…”
